About V-Carded!
The Virgin
A twenty-something male living in the boonies and the cornfields of the midwest. Despite a rocky childhood, his life has turned out fine as he works in a satisfying career. But one thing remains missing in that life: women. He remained a virgin and only after blown opportunities and heartache did he then realize what he was doing wrong. He then set out on a long road of self-improvement and study of what makes women tick. Yet after obtaining numerous knowledge, he is unable to apply what he learned and remains heavily introverted. He writes a blog of his life and experiences with the hope of cracking the code on the biggest mystery of all: himself.
The Friend
The Virgin’s best friend since childhood. Very much the polar opposite of The Virgin, The Friend is very extroverted and successful with people and women. He eventually married and was the perfect husband and father, yet after four years his wife left him to fool around. He then returned to “the game” with a hunger…much to the pleasure of the women he quickly beds.
The Boss
The Virgin’s supervising director (and therefor boss) at work, she is a independent woman who is only a year or two older than her employee. The Virgin fancies her, although not to the degree that he used to obsess over women and as it is a work environment, he doesn’t pay her much mind.
V-Carded! Hall of Shame Award
An “award” that The Virgin gives out to either fictional or real people in the media who exemplify a lack of testosterone and everything that a man shouldn’t do when trying to romance a woman (like The Virgin himself once), further reinforcing the “progressive, sensitive” man image to impressionable youth. The “lucky” winners are awarded a “Buffalo Bill,” the main killer from Silence of the Lambs whose motive was to become a woman.
From a Female’s Eyes
A column that sets up a fake female profile on website such as dating or social networks. Men’s emails are posted to give readers an idea of what women have to deal with and why men might not be getting favorable responses.
“And now a quote from…”
Random quotes and passages from The Virgin’s large library of knowledge including seduction material, sexual psychology books and even TV shows/movies. Typically the quotes are related to a previous/future entry about The Virgin’s own life. Other times the quotes are meant for humor.
