Enrique Iglesias, get a clue
Not even heartthrob singers are immune to the male ego when it comes to love.
Okay…granted Enrique Inglasias - singer son of Julio Inglesias - is known to joke with the news, and rumors have swung back and forth in the past about whether him and girlfriend Anna Kournikova wed or not. So for argument’s sake, let’s assume that Enrique is dealing straight in this latest story about how his has repeatedly asked Anna to marry him and she’s continued to ignore him. Am I the only one who sees that Enrique is completely CLUELESS in this situation?
If he’s been turned down for a marriage proposal not once but SEVERAL times…..hmmmm….maybe. …just maybe… SHE’S NOT THAT INTO YOU? Don’t get me those “marriage is a big step” and “She wants to take her time”…..excuses, all excuses. At this point in their relationship, she should be literally nagging HIM for the ring if she truly felt strongly enough about it, the signs will be there. I’ve watched the relationships of my friends who have gotten engaged and their girlfriends was always dropping not-so-subtle “hints.” That’s even from relationships that had a shorter time together than Enrique and Anna. Hell, if Enrique was to offer a wedding ring to any one of the screaming girls in the front row of his concerts, I don’ t think the word “NO” would even be a consideration.
At this point, Anna has probably been put off from Enrique’s nagging and is just waiting for the bigger, better thing to come along. That, or she’ll eventually cave in and decide to wed Enrique…only for the marriage to break up at some point. Fools rush in, and that’s why our divorce rate is so high. Unfortunately the male ego cannot fathom this until it’s too late and he’s standing in a courtroom forced to give half his income away.

Surely that can’t be true. I think they would have broken up by now. Who would want to put up with that? On either side. I would’t want to be in his shoes or hers. Maybe they really just don’t want to get married. In any case, I think you are correct. He could ask any screaming fan in the front row and get a “YES!!!”
