Steve Hoca’s 20-Year-Old Virgin Series

Gotta be amused by a guy who blames female rejection on government conspiracies from his bathroom.

Steve HocaIt’s highly interesting what you find on YouTube. Steve Hoca is a 37-year-old on YouTube giving his thoughts on the battle of the sexes and the issue of “true force loneliness” or “voluntary celibacy” that is plaguing virgins like me. It’s a three part series called “The 20 Year Old Virgin.”

Dos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrCXDg3FCJc
Tres: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0yTnrWTHwg

Says Steve:

“What is happening today in our culture is that people are being very discriminatory. These young men..or young women I should say because they are doing the selecting, and in a very brutal way…they are selecting which men they get to sleep with, okay? So what this is happening is they’re going back-and-forth, back-and-forth, between partners that they choose, and as a consequence of this it’s throwing guys that are decent looking, average looking, or just don’t fit into the crowd, and they’re just going to live a life of loneliness.”

Steve’s solution is to create a “men’s movement” to change all this eventually. Wait, isn’t that what the pickup artist / seduction community is doing, you ask? Steve doesn’t think so…he believes stuff like David DeAngelo, Ross Jeffries, Mystery and Tyler Durden is garbage that doesn’t work and that they’re just taking advantage of the problem.

“Don’t tell me that you bought the David DeAngelo ‘Meeting Women Online’ course and all that stuff…I tried all that crap and it didn’t work.”

Just because it didn’t work for him (not surprising seeing his attitude) doesn’t mean that it doesn’t work for other men out there. But be that as it may, why does Steve believe that the seduction community and products exist? Quote Steve again….

“I was talking to my friend Bill and we’ve had many conversations on the phone recently, and we both come to the agreement that the reason why these people exist is to act as a safety release value for guys who normally would go crazy and fight the women’s movement. We believe that feminism is the problem, we believe that the CIA and very destructive forces have created the problem that we live in today…”

He even blames the New World Order and the Illuminati. Give me a fucking break. Don’t get me wrong, I do believe that more elements of our world are controlled by secret societies than we think, but on the other hand we can’t give the government…or ESPECIALLY guys like Mystery and Tyler Durden…too much credit. People rationalize their emotions when things happen in their lives that they can’t explain; human beings often cannot just accept a lack of an answer. Or they blame hidden forces in order to dismiss the argument. Our minds cope easier that way, after all.

The laws of attraction that is embedded into our genes predates any Illuminati or New World Order. Attraction has never been a balanced, level or fair concept. As I’ve heard it put once, “two people cannot lead a dance” and that’s the truth. Men assert dominance, but women ultimately do the choosing. It’s ALWAYS been that way throughout history, not anything recent as Steve wants to believe. Women are attracted to a man who displays the traits of an alpha male that can protect her. When a man fails at that, it’s not the Illuminati, it’s not the N.W.O…..it’s Y.O.U.

Steve would do very well to actively study attraction psychology and read books like The Evolution of Desire, Sperm Wars and Red Queen. That will do him a whole lot better than wasting time uploading ten minute videos bitching about the problem. Which at a rough count I see over 100+ videos uploaded from him…IN 2008 ALONE.

I think steve has a problem which Neil describes quite well in his new book, and that’s the concept of “Limiting Beliefs”. It’s basically your rationalizations for the situations you’re in rather than taking responsibility yourself. You’d rather rationalize and make it seem alright than actually blame the problems on yourself so you can better yourself and grow from the experience.
The first step is acceptance. Poor Steve.

not only taking responsibility for your own actions/lack of action-taking, but whining in general gets you nowhere…true, we all need moments of whining, bitching, and moaning…

*thinks of all the times she has whimpered and moaned*…

anyhow, why make yourself “famous” for being a renowned whiner…

someone needs to tell this guy to put on his big boy underwear and get the fuck out of the friggin bathroom!!…i promise your mother will not care about all your whining…she will still cut your meat and buy all your clothes…

I think Steve simply had suffered some failures in his dating life and was generally pissed off at the world. Things have turned around for him with his most recent videos where he is going out on the town just to have fun and socialize!
